Al-Iqtishad: Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah maintains high standards of peer review while striving to improve the efficiency of the process.
The initial review process takes a minimum of 3 months and follows a double-blind peer review system, ensuring both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the process.

- Final publication decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers' recommendations.
- The Editorial Board provides insight, advice, and guidance to the Editor-in-Chief, supporting decision-making on specific submissions.
- The Managing Editors handle administrative tasks to ensure the integrity of the peer review process while promoting efficiency for authors, reviewers, and editors.

Peer review of referred papers:
Editors of Al-Iqtishad: Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah will make prompt decisions to accept, reject, or request revisions of submitted manuscripts based on peer reviews and the editorial insight of the supporting board.
In addition:
- Editors may seek additional reviews if deemed necessary to ensure the quality and integrity of the research.
- Authors will be notified if further review is required, along with any recommendations for improvement.

Peer review of novel submissions:
Articles submitted directly to Al-Iqtishad: Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah will undergo a full peer review by at least two qualified experts in the field, selected by the Editor-in-Chief. Based on the reviews and feedback received, the Editor-in-Chief or a designated member of the Editorial Board will decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions for the manuscript.
Editors will evaluate each submission to ensure that the research is:
